PlayAce Beta – Week in Review #1

PlayAce welcomes the Frankfurt School Tennis Initiative — all FS Tennis sessions are now organized directly in the app, making tennis at FS easier and more connected than ever.

A week in and we’re already in full swing! 🎾

🎾 Welcome, FS Tennis Community!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome the Frankfurt School Tennis Initiative to PlayAce! 💙💚

From now on, all FS Tennis sessions will be organized directly through the app: built by students, for students of the FS community.

With PlayAce, players can:

✅ Join or create sessions in seconds

🤝 Connect with teammates and opponents

👥 Form groups, clubs, and communities

📈 Track matches and progress over time

💬 Stay connected through a live community feed

 

If something doesn’t work quite right: just shake your phone to report a problem or send feedback. 📱

App Updates

🔐 Seamless Sign-Up – No Barriers

Google Login is back and running perfectly.

Sign in, find a match, and start playing: no friction, no fuss. (iOS only)

💬 Groups & Communities

Groups can now be linked to clubs: making it easier than ever to find your people and build your local tennis network.

🔔 Invites & Notifications – You’re in Control

Need a break? Push notifications can now be muted anytime.

If a session gets canceled, you can cancel it directly in the app.

You’ll also see open game invitations right on your home screen.

📰 In-App Blog – Everything in One Place

News, updates, and insights are now available directly in the app. No more endless scrolling through Instagram or email — just open PlayAce and stay up to date.

General Improvements

  • Fresh new splash screen for a faster, cleaner start

  • “Shake to Feedback” can now be disabled

  • You can now react to posts directly in your feed
